Ultra Slim Laptops - Toshiba Satellite T135-S1310 Vs Asus UL30A-X5
Both 13.3-inch laptop models are currently some of the hottest ultra-slim laptop models on the market. The Asus UL30A-X5 is a little thicker than the Toshiba Satellite T135-S1310, but overall, they are interchangeable models for the average laptop users.
The Toshiba Satellite T135-S1310 is equipped with an Intel Pentium Processor SU4100 (1.3 GHz), 4 GB RAM and 320 GB of storage. The Asus UL30A-X5 on the other side features an Intel Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300Processor, 4 GB DDR3 RAM and 500 GB of storage. Both models feature an HD display with the same resolution (1366 x 768). Both models also with 3 USB ports, an HDMI output, a memory card reader come. That's where the similarity ends.
The Toshiba Satellite S1310-T135 has several additional features such as Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, and the sleep and charge function. On the other hand, the Asus UL30A-X5 laptop also has some features not found on the Toshiba model. For example,It comes with built-in SRS Premium Sound Speakers from Altec Lansing. It also has a longer battery life, which up to 12 hours per charge. The Toshiba model can store up to 9 hours on a full charge.
There are also significant differences in their design. The Asus model has a brushed metal surface on its outer shell, while the Toshiba model has a sleek glossy finish. The Asus model is thinner and lighter laptop Measuring at only 0.98-inches in thickness and weighing3.74 pounds. The Toshiba model measures 1.35-inches thick and weighs 3.9 kilograms. So what better ultra-thin laptop model is it? Despite many differences, there may still prove difficult to make a choice. The 13.3-inch Toshiba Satellite S1310-T135 has a great price (cost approximately $ 593 per unit) has about $ 100 cheaper than the Asus model. The Asus UL30A-X5 on the other side a better feature set and a beautiful design. If you are a little more moneyto spare, the Asus model will make an excellent buy.
